I feel like the newer a pokemon game gets the less it gets in terms of new stuff to play around with. I think there's Drayano's stuff but that's really it, right?
The self indulgent B2 memory linked run Tbh I completely forgot what my OG intent for this run was because it’s been years since I put in the hacked mons on the roster and stuff lol so I just started blasting! Like I had dream radar loaded up, genesect is here too... clearly this is something I was gonna do and then outright forgot.
This was the gen where facebook boomers came in full swing and made fun of vanilluxe and garbordor and klinklang which has pretty much shot them to being mons I attempt to find good points about and stories and highlights, because I'm the type of person who feels pity for underdog characters. I think Unova was a unique attempt and it's pretty much like the precursor to regional variants. But it is kind of a pain to replay because unlike kanto the team variety gets locked in because why are some pokemon so far in late game and also like, barely able to evolve before the elite four...?
