Masters Main Story

Preface

I have read the word "bonds" so many times that it's going to give me a psychological effect as if I haven't watched and played multiple anime and games that do the exact same thing.
Played through an English and JP dub account. Only started them this year, both in Janurary but I only play in large bursts usually around anni times.

PML League (Ch 1-30)

Current PML Status: Cleared!

The Main Story Supercut (PML)

You can’t actually rewatch the intro where Blue(rival) talks to you… you’d have to make a fresh new account. So I went to bulbapedia. The pokemon masters league is a big festival, trainers gather for teams of three, but they can only use one pokemon.

Actually, thinking about this Right Now, it’s nuts that they made it Green. Because his grandfather did it too.

Centra City is the biggest city on Pasio, Pasio is a completely artificial island. It’s against the rules to force a trainer to do battle if they don’t want to do so. Rosa’s a famous trainer from Unova. (It’s kinda weird that the pokemon in Pasio aren’t evolved for some trainers in spite of their feats but they’re the pokemon they went with… gameplay lore separation already working.)
Barry is described as a pretty straightforward, purehearted, “nice guy” sort of trainer. Team Break have been wearing masks and stealing people’s pokemon. Yep, typical villain fare. Cynthia speaks highly of him. But he’s a bit impulsive.
Paulo exists. He wants to crush team break once and for all. (Apparently he turns into a villain during the villain arc, I think his pokemon dies.) Team break has multiple hideouts. Paulo is the friendly rival, while Lear is the antagonistic one, and he says our hat sucks. Calls it shoddy, an eyesore. Lear made Pasio and the pokemon masters league. Grown ass man beefing with a child (the player is called a child/young multiple times in dialogue.)
Red doesnt even say anything but Green still understands him. Him and Red are… training together. By the way, since Red is usually wearing his Sygna suit, that means every event featuring him in that suit is a Pasio only event. (If that makes zero sense, don’t worry, I already complained about that in my gameplay log.) This version of Red might be a Pasio only Red since he’s the reason PML canonically exists. Everyone treats him like the regular Red though irregardless.
Flannery’s grandpa used to be in the elite four (this was said in RSE as well.) She gets riled up easily.
You need 5 badges for the league and each one is held by a PML leader. I think there’s multiple leaders because Erika was one but she leaves her position to join the team based on my later account which is only 7 chapters in. I’m going on my JP account to sync them up first.
Professor Bellis does fieldwork on Pasio. (Insert Sync Stone Lore Image) (Note: Please make image) Note: Did not make image, take a summary instead.

Sync Stone Lore:
Sync moves work on Pasio because of special stones found at a special spot in the ocean around Pasio, embedded into the poryphone, rainbow colored, and can amplify the power that comes from the bond of a trainer and their pokemon The more power as a sync pair comes from the literal power of friendship. You have to use a bunch of regular moves before using the sync move.
There’s a number in the corner of my screen and I have no idea why it got there, maybe it represents the number of scenes in a segment? I never noticed it before?

Alt Account Catchup

Chapter 5

Skyla lost to Lear but she still had fun, Lear thinks of his pokemon as tools and gets mad that Skyla was happy, proceeds to wipe floor with player, everyone kind of gives them a little picnic, Skyla joins the team. We get the next badge.

Chapter 6

Rosa doesn’t like Lear’s way of thinking but tbh there are going to be stronger people so what they need to do is train. They go to visit the Evolution fighter (Korrina) There’s like a training park for sync pairs and stuff. Brendan is also here to train with Korrina The most important thing is to have fun (tm) Lucario is joining us because he sensed how good our bonds(tm) are Not just with the pokemon but as a team Brendan is joining us to show us the next PML leader. His dad. He’s not a freebie unit though you have to summon him

Chapter 7

Bravery is half the victory It’s at this point i notice that the chapters have titles Norman is described as a man in pursuit of power Team break is also here to try and jump people who climb the trail to fight Norman They do not do a good job Paulo almost beat Norman with a rockruff vs a slaking Paulo is a bit frustrated with the player because there’s a power gap Team break is becoming a bit strong so Norman is a bit concerned There’s a cave where sync pairs rest so now it’s time to jump team break before they can do anything Actually they came for norman They collapsed the cave and now the gang is trapped in a cave There’s a poke fan here. He’s calling it his cave. It was actually a team break member. Team break’s goal is to sabotage the PML The player character is described as having “a sparkle in their eye” Anyways we won and Norman joined the team Even though Paulo lost the battle he won the mental battle by still going anyways so badges don’t have to be just through battles Paulo mutters something to himself before the chapter ends. I’m sure this won’t be concerning.

Chapter 8

A cold harsh winter Flannery really wants to fight Pryce and it’s causing team issues They won the battle but Pryce did not give the badge Barry apologizes to Flannery for being in a rush and thinking he could do it by himself Flannery apologizes as well because she was also rushing. *Friendship reconciled.* The harmony badge was obtained! Norman thanks Pryce for battling earnestly because before when they battles Pryce was not going all out. Probably because the teamwork sucked.

Chapter 9

Iris and Rosa are having a reunion because the city’s a bit busier since everyone’s getting more geared up for the tournament but you’ll never guess what happens next It was team break but also Lear shows up again and everyone’s like “this guy SUCKS.” Lear is like “no I did not make this evil team, I actually came here to do my judgement, now leave my sight you pathetic plebeian your team sucks BTW and your hat is ugly your fit is WHACK”* Note: slightly exaggerated Pryce is like “iris don’t get mad at him” so she didn’t Team Break keeps showing up to steal Iris’s haxorus which is preventing a confrontation with Lear Anyways the player and Lear was like “sod off” and Iris was like “just say thanks is it that hard” And then they battle Iris is the champion and Lear is going toe to toe because he’s just that strong and he’s smart and trains and stuff Lear is like “I’m not sappy like the player is and you (Iris) sound pathetic” and calls Rachel and Sawyer his retainers so therefore they are not his friends His pokemon is not his friend either He’s a tool to be used to get to the top. But how come Iris is almost winning? Because of her bond with her pokemon. Lear leaves because he doesn’t like the implications of what that could possibly mean.

Chapter 10

A Matter of Pride

The final badge Paulo lost again and he’s dissapointed but Hapu said if you believed in yourself more you could win with more confidence Team break’s back We beat team break and Paulo is like “you got so much stronger than me so fast… man…” The gang go to fight team break because there are more members in the area and Paulo goes ahead because he’s gonna scope out the area Anyways all of them call BS on that so they follow Paulo and he immediately gets jumped by Break Paulo leaves because he says he’s gonna get stronger Hapu gave me the badge without a battle Because she judged my character and I won because I’m good and now I can go to the champion league! Brock left the team?

Interlude 1

Brock’s got a new look! It’s his sygna suit! Some designer saw him and said “I’m gonna get you some drip” It’s proof of their bond as a sync pair Him and this Tyranitar Brock’s goal was to watch me (the player) and now I have grown strong and everyone was super impressed Brock wants to fight me now so he can see how strong I’ve become. And I wiped the floor with him. Lear was like “hey everyone glad you made it but I’m entertained by the mere thought you guys think you can beat me” How’s this tournament even work Red was here in his Sygna suit. Okay so there's a line of dialogue here that's going to drive me nuts and it ruins my timeline headcanon because Lear refers to Red as a kid or as a twerp so that means the entire timeline for masters makes me want to do a perfectly timed hit to it outside of a window.
Cynthia is here. If we can unite our hearts as a team we can win and then Lear immediately enters I suspect he has an ear trained to stop that nonsense immediately Paulo’s here too! He made his own team! Now what.

Champion Stadium: The Road to Hard Mode When did Lillie get here There is a hard mode now N is talking about rental pokemon??? Okay i don’t think this one is like “canon” to anything whatsoever.

Moving on.

Last time: interlude 1, Brock drip Now: the tournament arc!
Alola’s rising stars:
The first match is against hau and sophocles, Sophocles is nervous about the battle (he’s a shy guy.) Hau joins the team.
Candle and Flame:
Up next is Shauntal and Flint. Flint wanted to team up with Blaine but he ditched, Shauntal also didn’t have a teammate, so they teamed up together. Flint attempts to get Shauntal to get his fiery passion and spirit since that’s what Pokémon battles are all about but the metaphor flies over her head. Cold Confidence:
Up next, Clair and Lorelei Iris turned down their team invite, so Clair was like “she’ll regret turning down the greatest dragon master” so Lorelei notes she’s far more overconfident than Lance which makes her entertaining to watch. She joins next.
Bug experts:
Viola’s taking photos of Bugsy and his Beedrill because they have a contrast. Bugsy’s motivation is making people see bug types are cool. Viola joins the team because we make good photos happen.
Dubious Duo:
Both Nanu and Grimsley have been using cheap tricks and bluffs to get through the tournament but the power of honesty beats them. Nanu joins our team but also has a motive to figure out what’s going on with team break as like our secret bodyguard. He also invites Grimsley to go to sushi high roller with him.
Ninja Kin:
Since Janine and Koga are ninja they’ve been spying on the trainer and want to prove there are some battles that can’t be won with just strength. Anyways, our straightforward tactics beat ninja tactics. Janine feels bad because she thinks she held her father back. But the defeat was equal on both their ends, Janine goes off to train. Koga joins the team.
Ghostly Trio:
Agatha, Acerola, and Phoebe are up next. Agatha points out the player trainer’s team isn’t experienced, but they’ve got momentum. They need to break up the rhythm, acerola will think it’s easy since they’re all elite four members. If they don’t all focus on their strength and support they’ll lose. Pokemon are for battling, after all.
There’s a fun bit of dialogue here where the player can respond by saying “we’re not a-afraid of ghosts!” Acerola joins the team. Agatha also suggested Phoebe join but she declined.
Team Unova:
Cheren points out that him and Hilbert both journeyed across Unova together but it’ll be a bit harder since they’ll be up against Champion-level trainers so it’ll be rough ahead, which means they can’t be seeking victory for victory’s sake. They have to use their strength to help each other, which reminds Hilbert of how Cheren used to be before the journey. Cheren used to have tunnel vision but his experiences helped him grow, and they team up with Hilda (she’s the battle subway partner in Masters.) Cheren joins the team since he wants to see the player’s growth firsthand.

Interlude 2: Lear’s Salty Runback (not what it’s called)
Brock and Misty are praising the player being like “you’ve grown so fast, we might be able to win!” Lear arrives and goes you’ll only be able to win this tournament in your dreams and says it’s luck, the Player responds by saying it was teamwork and Lear responds “that is not winning, that’s just relying on other people.” Misty calls this out by saying Lear will never know what it’s like to win and she feels sorry for him. Lear proceeds to call all the friendship stuff the game loves to talk about as nonsense and says the only way to win is with your own strength. If this was a regular Pokémon game he’d just be a solo guy but since masters is a 3 v 3 game he’s wrong.
Chapter 19

Lear is going to battle us in an attempt to disqualify the entire team which at this point is like 20+ or so people based on how many guys joined us during the tournament. Even if the player wins, it’s more important to have fun with the battle. Lear doesn’t know that though. He also gets called out for putting his personal feelings before the tournament. Lear replaced his Krookodile with his Staraptor because he was disappointed in the tie. (Note: Player canonically uses a Pikachu. This is a horrible matchup for Lear.) Rosa calls this out because sync pairs are supposed to be partners and learn from the losses. Sawyer (his assistant) warns Lear that the player’s team is pretty strong so he should be careful. And Lear proceeds to tell his assistants he’ll do this solo. Brock says “Sometimes battling is the only way to get people to see eye to eye” and the battle begins. Lear loses and the reason why? He doesn’t know how to have fun, he doesn’t have friends, and he has no bonds with his Pokemon. Lear can’t even use sync moves because the sync stones turn the bonds into power. Lear’s assistants try to say that’s okay but are they really okay with him having no bonds? Rosa’s like “you guys just watch from the side. That’s kind of sad.” Lear’s whole reason for starting this tournament was to prove one man alone can take on the world with no bonds whatsoever. The players response to this? “See you at the tournament!” Lear lore drop: his father the king says if the PML is a success Lear will become heir to the throne. Anyways now the royal manor has been attacked by thieves and something was stolen. Hoopa?
Chapter 20
Shifting shadows
Player is now famous because of the victories so there will be challenges. Acerola is also hanging out being responsible because she had to look after kids in Alola. Calem is here now, he just came from Kalos. He heard about the player from Cynthia and now he wants to battle.
But Calem also had a few other motives, like mentioning team break came back so he wants to join us to beat them up and rescue the stolen pokemon. Anyways, fight team break, involving a group calling themselves the team break baddies who were in an earlier chapter. They’re all not very smart though so they decide to disband. Calem isn’t good with working in groups so he keeps going ahead of the group. Also he wants us to save our energy for the tournament, but we decide to help him anyways because he’s one guy, a 3 vs 1 isn’t fair. But it was a trap to get every break member to ambush the team, but Cynthia was there and beat everyone so everyone left because the PML staff cleaned up. Calem also joined the tournament team. Ch 21

Face the fight
The gang ran from the volcano to make it to the opening ceremony They can’t even take a break There was a scene with Paulo so he made it to the finals too Sawyer is doing the opening announcement instead of Lear
He mentions how people and their Pokémon pushed themselves to the limit to make it in the competition
We proceed to fight three of the fighting type experts Marshal, Bruno, Brawly
Flashback sequence where the three meet on the beach training and yelling because yelling makes their attacks stronger and talk about their training at the gym (not Pokémon gym, an actual training gym) Anime logic So they team up since brawly suggested surfing as a new training method— leading to the idea of going to PML as that method
Anyways they lose. Marshal mentions something about no such thing as the strongest Pokémon or perfect team combo, but Bruno and Brawly reassure him with saying that the challenge is worth it since they’ll never quit as martial artists. The player is praised for having a heart that cares for their friends and Pokémon.
Interlude 3
The truth about Pasio
Lear and Rachel are also hunting down team break hideouts to search for a secret friend (it’s Hoopa) and Lear skipped his own tourney opening because all that talk of bonds and friendship would’ve made him ill Sawyer shows up so the gang proceed to go look for more team break thieves Cheren shows up to talk because he was curious Hoopa the mythical Pokémon, he read about it in books, and it can summon literally any Pokémon or person through its rings by warping space and teleporting stuff It’s sometimes used as a way for trainers to show up on Pasio or Pokémon since the island is artificial so there’s no wild Pokémon.

Cheren showed up through the hoopa ring, others on their Pokémon’s backs, or by ferry.
Hoopa did all that stuff for donuts. So it was like, mutually beneficial. And if people didn’t want to be there they got sent back. Cheren says you need to enlist help, this is not a one man job, Lear tries to shut that down by mentioning he’s gonna become king and no one is above him. Cheren relates this to himself by wondering if this is what alder felt when he was obsessed with power. Team breaks plan is to sabotage the tournament.
Chapter 22
Rival face off!

It’s Paulo fighting team break in a flashback! He’s losing. He proceeds to get saved by Wikstrom and Wulfric. Paulo knows of them as justice like and also kindhearted and he looks up to them. He was praised for trying to save that one youngster but he’s all humble and stuff because he wasn’t strong enough. So he teams up with them to try beating the team in the PML. We’re rivals, but the player is so far ahead of them. Paulo believed he can win because he teamed up with his idols who taught him about chivalry, kindness, and strength! He defines the player as the rival that’s always ahead, the one he never wants to lose to. Anyways he loses. He’s not happy about that but he fakes the smile. Later on he’s like. Why wasn’t I strong enough… Chapter 23

Fashion!
Clair and Koga are annoyed because some kids said their Pokémon look cool but they dress weird. Valerie slides across the town to say hi to Erika and then compliments their clothes saying they match the Pokémon. Valerie as a designer, her outfit could cost more than 500 big pearls. Why is that the measurement. It’s how good the clothes look on the wearer that’s the thing.
What does Valerie want to do? Become a Pokémon. That’s what her outfits are about. Sync stones are not about that. Valerie is then requested to make an outfit for Elesa by some NPCs.
They lose, but turns out Valerie wanted to meet Elesa the whole time anyways. The gang go on a map, find Leaf battling Elesa. There’s a conversation and then leaf has a solution about becoming a Pokémon (is it bill?) but first a battle.
You see, when using the sync stone to do a sync move, hearts become one. That’s how you become a Pokémon. The mind and heart have to be in sync with the Pokémon. Then leaf immediately mentions bill as like what not to do.
Chapter 24
A shining spotlight
Up next: Elesa, Fantina, and Sabrina
So the three have fought elite four and some of the strongest trainers in the world, but Sabrina can’t see the future outcome of the battle. There’s something about her not smiling very often but she lives in a very different world than the idol or dancer. Elesa tells a bad joke which works. She wears her special Sygna suit but then team break shows up with a surprise attack to stop the tournament and they might hurt the fans so everyone teams up to stop them. Some fans are afraid but Elesa reassures them by saying they should be brave because their Pokémon are also afraid but being brave. Team break will be defeated with courage so other tournament members pull up to fight too. Encouraged by this the fans tell us to start battling while they hold off team break. Well, even if the sync pairs didn’t make it all the way they all have the flame of courage to beat team break at the PML.Paulo was also there mumbling to himself about losing. Karen and will were standing at the top watching mentioning how the players team is at the center of the storm. Interlude 4
The once charming Prince
Lear is not having his assistants helping him, nor does he want Cheren around, and Cheren is following because he reminds him of his time as a teacher. Sawyer is asking Cheren to help because Lear is also now obsessed with gaining power to beat the player. To Cheren, Lear is probably some power obsessed snob treating others like tools, but he used to be a kind good boy but when his mom died his dad sent him to a strict school and he changed and lost his trust in others. So the PML’s tournament structure was built to remind Lear of the days of his past. Sawyer arranged the setup like that. Hoopa also just showed up one day. Lear gives another speech about how he will be the strongest king ever so then his assistants go “oh well, guess he’s a lost cause.”
Chapter 25
A glorious gambit Let’s go gambling!
Grimsley gets picked up by will and Karen to their team because of his relentless resolve and Karen does the speech about trainers winning with the pokemon they love best and he’ll be their trump card, he’s also got a Sygna suit too. It was all bet with a coin flip. There’s more security after team break’s attack, but if another thing happens, Nanu is leaving. Also the team is fighting Cynthia next for the quarterfinals.
Interlude 5
Cheren calls for an intervention. I like how the assistants were faking leaving but then immediately come back because they still believe in Lear. Lear gets battled by more team break members and tells Cheren to stand back and let him solo. The team break members all get blamed by their leader, Lear makes fun of that, Cheren immediately says “that’s what you look like to everyone else.” Cheren says “as long as you keep ignoring everyone trying to help, you will never be fit to be a king.” Cheren then talks about the Unova protag and N and how they believed in the bonds of pokemon and how the other wanted to change the world for pokemon and then beat Ghestis and what Lear needs is to care about people and pokemon and not power. What truly matters to him… his assistants and Hoopa. Lear gets a call from a masked man saying to come battle alone and Cheren says that’s a blatantly obvious ambush. But the allure of the crown gets to him.
Chapter 26
The future is now
How to beat a champion? It’s Cynthia! Hau and Rosa contrast between excitement and anxiety. They need a plan to beat Cynthia. The plan? Training. But they’ll need a lot of people, so the professor pops up. There’s a science group of Clemont, Molayne, and Sophocles. They have invented the sync pair pinger. There’s a machine that pings pairs and then releases a smell for the pokemon to come alongside the person. So remembering Clemont’s anime inventions, this will work perfectly once, and then probably explode. They accidentally call up a mob of trainers instead. It didn’t work, but Molayne related this to him looking for stars at his observatory. If he gives up, he won’t be able to find a new one. Because progress is progress! Anyways the science guys proceed to fight too and then Molayne joins the team after. The Ping machine goes off one last time and it’s my man Blue!*
*or green, whatever.
They trained all night and then at the very morning Red shows up to pick Blue up and Bellis starts glazing Red with “the legendary trainer” so Blue is like you didn’t say that about me?! So Blue goes “oh well, guess you stand out.” Blue is a good mentor. It’s time to fight Cynthia, she’s got a new fit too.
Interlude 6
Royally Alone
Cheren’s stoutland is about to track lear down by scent because things are about to become a hot mess but him and the assistants get held up by more break members. Lear’s motive to be king? Whatever he wants! Status, prestige, power, loyal pokemon and retainers, he doesn’t have to change at all. The trap was an ambush with a whole gang, so Lear uses three pokemon at once but loses. He then gets knocked out
Flashback time
Several years ago
Little wee Lear is sad because he has to train and study hard and he doesn’t want to be king like that and he misses his mom Hoopa shows up and pranks Lear and also gives him a phanphy Hoopa gave Lear the sync stone so he’d stop crying and asks Hoopa to be his friend
But they put Lear and Hoopa in the same jail
Chapter 27
The quarterfinals
Caitlin is bored waiting for Cynthia, but she shows up in her new fit. They do a practice battle because Caitlin is also Cynthia’s friend and rival to her, darach is also there. Cynthia isn’t battling as a champion with Garchomp but with her Kommo-o. There’s a mention of a strong fighting spirit, but the team has one too. The other two are the team led by the veteran Red, and the other is Lance’s team. The third team is Lear’s. Cheren shows up post match to ask Cynthia to help rescue Lear.
Interlude 7
Young Lear would have to train to the point of exhaustion and then his teachers would leave him stranded in the woods to go back by himself. So Lear decides the only person he can trust is himself because he’s never been helped. Lear blames Hoopa for getting kidnapped but it’s so exhausted from opening portals it can’t say anything. Lear uses Hoopa to try and summon red but since he specifically called him a pesky upstart with a stupid hat Hoopa summons a child. Lear reflects more and decides, no, I’m the one that changed. I’m the problem? He wanted to protect himself. Why did team break form? Because they’re haters. Lear beat them up so they hate him and his tournament. So now it’s time to cancel the tournament because if Lear doesn’t make that announcement, the tournament will be attacked. Hoopa gets a last wind to teleport Lear away.
So Lear did not say to be a friend like I thought initially, little Lear asked Hoopa to be his servant and it got pissed. So then he asked to be friends.
Now in the present: Lear calls upon his friends and also Cheren and with The power of friendship they go to try and save Hoopa. Lear getting a little taste of friendship and he’s coming around.
Lear calls out to Hoopa and says they’re friends in real time since he owes Hoopa for saving his life twice. The masked man holding Hoopa hostage gets jumped by Cheren’s stoutland Lear uses his sync stone for the first time ever and we get to play it out
Cynthia shows up to clear the area again. And now Lear, having learned from this experience, wants to become the king of bonds. Lear having an offscreen adventure to become a friendship enjoyer but his personality is still twisted is honestly the best way this could’ve went for me
Chapter 28
Change of heart
The people do not want Lear to succeed
Team break is back again and this time they’re targeting the player but don’t worry, Lear is here to help, and the team break baddies that disbanded rebranded but lost again, but they’ve also learned the power of friendship so they retreat. Godspeed. Team break’s final punishment is community service. Cleaning duty, greeting visitors, and battling, but they get paid. The match is postponed so everyone can rest, Lear points out it might sound selfish, but please let everyone be at their full strength.
Meanwhile at night
Lear and Hoopa are goofing off and who should appear but Red Lear was all about “I wanted to get revenge on you because you showed up and beat me but I’m good now, now I just wanna have a good match.” Chapter 29
Semifinal showdown
Cheren shows up at Lear’s house to tell him that he used to be just like him once because of thinking about strength but it was thanks to his friends and everyone he met that changed his mind. Also Alder was there. And also his Pokemon. So Cheren did it for Lear. Lear is like “I am not thanking you.” Lear leaves his mansion to get a crowd of praise, he has not had that, so it’s a new experience. Paulo as a side plot shows up and Lear is like “that guy has a sinister energy about him.” Lear lost, but, he did have fun battling us. Lear wasn’t jealous because of the player reminding them of Red, he was jealous because we had friends and fun. But next time, he’ll win! Chapter 30
The final battle, the road to victory Vs the Kanto team They’ve all got their Sygna suits on too

Doing their training session, Blue decided to fight red because he thinks red is hogging the spotlight (leaf arranged the team, blue is tired of being a right hand man and would rather be the rival again), but it was just a fluke (in blue’s eyes, since red didn’t say anything) but red says “I accept your challenge.” They are literally about to go to the final match. Leaf mentions they all started in pallet town together, took different paths, but eventually ended up back to each other again. So red thinks “let’s win this together!” Whoever made Blue’s Sygna suit and put those pockets there it KOs me every time. Why are they so LARGE. there’s a final walking segment where you talk to all your team members as they interact in groups. Brock mentions how Red wasn’t super strong initially but he was gifted, and Misty mentions that Red wanted to focus on battling so much and that’s why he went to Mt. Silver. Lear sets himself as the referee of the final match. The winners walk off into a crowd and parade, professor bellis asks how in the world the player managed to beat everyone stronger than them. Teamwork! Paulo sees the remnants of team break talk about setting their own path so he decides to do that too. The five badges of the PML were also representative of the values of the royal family Lear hails from. Lear immediately snaps off and starts calling the entire thing soapy so he announced another pokemon masters league, that’s my Lear.
And that about wraps up the first arc of pokemon masters summarized.

Post credits: Giovanni mentions having some chaos to sow with his own eeevil plans.

Eevee Day Events Update

Let’s Go in Search of Wonder

There is a talking Eevee (actually a poke kid named Eve) Elaine is searching for the Eevee and also recording her efforts Elaine and Eve both become friends because they like Eevee but they do not realize that the talking Eevee in question is just Eve being really bad at mimicking the cry. The Hisui units are here too to talk about the fact they have no clue about it. Misty points out that if there was a talking Eevee, it would be more famous. Leaf gets distracted by the Eevee and starts petting them which is basically her running character trait.

Since no one else knows about Eevee ther much the duo are lost for who else to go to until they notice Penny and her giant Eevee backpack. Penny is from Galar and also wants an Eevee suit, but forget about that. There is a secret gathering of Eevee fans on Pasio, I think that was in a previous event with Penny. Penny questions if there’s a Pokémon that can even physically use human language so they go to ask Professor Oak (note that anime meowth is a bizarre freak of nature from another universe). Nemona was also there in Oak’s lab solely to battle Blue (grandson) and Nemona was like “if Blue thinks highly of you, you must be pretty strong!” Goku energy.

Chatot is a talking Pokémon, but it’s more mimicry… So in theory, Pokémon could be just pretending to human. If Pokémon could speak in words instead of like “silent heart to heart communication” then people could be better friends.

Now they’re talking to Valerie. Well, since human and Pokémon friendship is built on love and respect, there’s Pokémon that love and respect in the same way. So they did not figure that out.

Travelers from a distant past

Dawn is the one who goes to professor bellis to report on a rift in the sky Lucas is like “dialgia’s been acting weird” Adaman and Irida are arguing about their legendary Pokémon and saying that it’s a trial from one of them like dialga sending them to the future or palkia sending them to a different place A crowd is gathering because of the argument The answer was both

Adaman and Irida run up to the Sinnoh protags because they mistake them for the Hisui protags because in Masters canon and subsequently all of Pokémon canon since masters is a canon game they are Seperate characters By the way, Dawn is considered as the protag pick and Lucas as the professor assistant, but for Hisui it’s Rei as the protag and Akari as the assistant. Lucas is like “Hisui is ancient Sinnoh.” It was in the Canalave books and Rowan’s research materials.

Irida and Adaman are kind of fuzzy on how they got to Pasio and they’re like “so this is what the guys from Hisui went through” which could be referring to like, Ingo, or the PLA protag.

They came from the rift. By the way, I’ve never played PLA, so is the rift in that game the same as a wormhole established in gen 7? Space time distortions are causing wild Pokémon to appear on Pasio. In Hisui, they vanished, but on Pasio, they’re getting larger. In Hisui’s time, the Pokémon were considered dangerous frightening creatures. The wild Pokémon on Pasio are also attacking the non trainer civilians now. Lucas casually brings out Dialgia after it’s mentioned that the Sinnoh legends caused the rift problem before. Since Palkia is with Cyrus, there could be a problem…

Galactic and Galaxy team are not the same at all. Adaman calls the galactic outfit bizzare. The OG galaxy team’s mission was for people and Pokémon to coexist for the peace and safety of the world but Cyrus doesn’t care. Anyways dialgia and palkia beam their thoughts directly into the clan leaders heads. Because a lot of times and spaces are connected and the balance was distorted , the distortions are happening. So they’ll use the legendary Pokémon’s powers to stop that. It didn’t work with just the duo, but adding in Giratina’s power worked. Cynthia was also there. Since the duo didn’t even know how they got there they’ve decided to stay. And also put their respective Pokémon into poke balls. (Note: a thing about PLA is that poke balls were relatively new and most of the clan didn’t really use them.) They’re going to use Pasio as the example of people and Pokémon living in harmony.

Eevee Tales

Oak was holding a lecture about Eevee and their evolutions Lucas, Kris, and Lyra had the kanto classic trio. They all picked out their evolutions for their respective Eevee with the stones based on various picks (to be faster, or because their Pokémon admired another).

The next one is on espeon and Umbreon, the sun based team wins and Selene theorizes because they had the power of the sun and asked for a rematch when the moon came up. Eevee evolved because it received mysterious powers from the sun and moon, in theory. Selene and Elio’s respective sun moon eevees came from the island challenge. In theory, masters probably will eventually give every popular trainer enough Pokémon for a full team. Elio thinks about the Taurous in Panonia town. Different evolutions and natures… Calem’s sylveon is aggressive, Hilda’s Leafeon is levelheaded in spite of Hilda not being like that (Pokémon take after their trainers…) , and Hilbert’s Glaceon is serious but also has a tell when it’s about to attack(locking in.) What the trainers get out of the evolutions is up to them to bring out their unique traits.

Galar founding academy

I forgot to talk about the last one entirely But Giacomo basically helped out some team skull kids by holding a contest with them and that gave Clavell the idea to found a school on Pasio

Great infernal arrival

Wrestling match is interrupted by Penny’s pro wrestler buddy Eri Penny was also watching the wrestling show since it reminds her of hero shows. People don’t wanna go to Pasio academy to study or learn so it’s having trouble getting established. Eri is going to be the hype girl the school needs.

Oh yeah, the masked royal’s incineroar and kukui’s incineroar are connected because the masked royal asked Kukui to take care of it. The kids on Pasio are not into the school idea because it seems like it’ll suck and Eri comes off as being arrogant and she’s probably had it easy. Eri is concerned because she’s like “that’s how I come across…?” The whole thing with Paldea was team star and the admins being outcasts, right…

Kukui can relate to not everyone wanting to be on board with a thing, like how he established a Pokémon league in alola. He even learned from Kanto and tried to figure out how he could put the alola tradition into things. Eri is planning to make herself a matyr to convince everyone to join up. Bad idea. She’s gonna be a pro wrestling heel to gather people’s anger. Her friends stop her because the anger making team star only caused problems.

Barry is beat with the power of a quiz during another wrestling match and Eri also talks about her school experience good and bad which convinces people to change their minds on the school.
