This stretch of miitopia with the final party member has always been a backtrack moment for me since they’re underleveled to the area they join in, so I spend a bit of time getting them to level Thanks for fast forwarding and auto battling I’ve always used the fairyland to play with the more absurd classes like cat, princess, flower, and the pop star, but one of these days on my next save I’ll try using like, the more normal RPG classes in later areas since my 1st and current 2nd playthrough will likely have the same structure based on how I team built. I wish miitopia had NG+ so I could toy with early classes but I don’t even think switch edition did that. There was the horse added in though. When the miitopia adds the dinky background instrument and you know your mii is about to say something stupid Forgot about sprinkles and hobgoblins still suck as enemies This last guy hates literally all the fairy food and I’ve never bothered going backtracking to try ALL the food Trying to beat the boss and it keeps zoning out my characters so I put one in the safe spot and as soon as I do the boss is killed by the NPC lol. Lmao even. Can these dumbasses stop buying just MP candies and start getting some bananas I’ve played this game like 3 times over the course of the years I’ve bought it and only now do I notice that the personalities have different reactions to boss fights where there’s one that will freak out and another starts jumping happily Fairy land really is the longest segment to me before you get to the “rescue all the party members” segment but that’s mostly because they do the face stealing thing like in Neksdor Thankfully lotus lake is really pretty so it makes up for the backtracking

Miitopia Briefing Everyone loves multitasking so much that it’s sort of nice to just play a game without a distraction nearby Just a console and a notebook. The wheel is literally in quarters my luck can’t be this bad to land on spaghetti every time GIVE ME THE SPEAR Was that ice cream stick supposed to be brown It looks very un ice cream like Once I get the encore unlocked on two pop stars things are gonna go crazy (tm) Stats wise every equivalent grub is in game already I think Never checked Detouring to train my last guy by replaying levels because the goblin enemy hits a bit harder than expected Hoping for bonus exp along the way

Last time on Miitopia The desert This might just qualify as the part I can’t stand I like fairy world a lot more. It’s just a desert. And just before the desert miniboss two members (father and daughter) decided to squabble I just realized I never added any of the FF14 Miitopia editions to Tomodachi, which I should probably do. Mii games even when I’m not feeling them are kind of hilarious because one of my members has a baby bottle for their weapon and I just got back from tomodachi having one of my characters sell moldy bread. One of the OCs kids finally grew up and they had insane makeup. I kind of still miss my OG lineup that got wiped when the 3DS got reformatted so maybe I’ll find a way to bring in some of the best ones. A special slot for Mii exclusive games because I can. I forgot how the lever puzzle works in the pyramid It’s 3 switches, eventually by brute force I’ll figure it out Got it Let’s go gambling! Pop Star Sage I wish Miitopia had a NG+ so it would be easier to use elf and vampire early instead of postgame Miitopia’s second run was sort of fun sort of not fun, solely I think because it’s using a cast I’m just not used to running around with in my head anymore. It’s always fun to use the weirdest classes in fairy land solely because you fight tomatoes and twerkeys. It’s all around bizzare. Double pop star method. Human I remember your misgenders The game generated in Chara and sans into the same town One thousand MP candies. This iteration of my white haired elf boy is somehow cute… He is just a guy to me. I also switched up some personalities so I have an airhead and a laidback guy because personality wise Haynes is an asshole who has too many matching traits with various other things. Stubborn and laid back and cautious and generally not the type of guy you’d recruit on your journey to save the world and also kind of a chronic liar backstabber type of guy. Of course he’d be an imp, he’s already on the route to being considered the worst guy.

Shadow Dragon Pirates have invaded the kingdom, so it’s up to Mars, Sheeda, and his small army to handle the invasion And by small army, I mean mostly jeigen, it’s sort of a given. I started off doing a bit in FEA and FE6 once upon a time but idk, I guess throwing in a random chapter of fe1 to show how far the series has come would be innovative Also I recruited wrys by visiting his house which saved my Abel from dying after I used him to try and bring the pirates off the fort I wasn’t using save states so I almost lost Caeda after the fort boss had way more damage but then I used one of the horse Christmas guys to maneuver to the other side of the fort to kill him Well, not so bad for ch 1, simple since it’s An nes story, but I can see why marth and his gang have been such a popular group in FE stuff. Going about this eventually I might make a Nintendo RPG page… for stuff other than Pokemon and earthbound. For a while, I’ve been thinking, but Nintendo doesn’t really have an active traditional four guys in a row RPG series that much. Dragon quest is multiplatform alongside final fantasy and like the closest one I can think of is Pokemon but that’s more monsters than like “4 guys walking in a straight line using magic” that hasn’t been sent to the great Nintendo retirement farm like mother/earthbound, and it’s also kind of mildly funny how Nintendo only guys and smash bros enthusiasts just despise the entire genre of JRPGs but love the hell out of pokemon. They’re literally the same gameplay style. A final fantasy black mage until they introduce ATB is the same thing as a Tauros you taught elemental TMs to. What about golden sun I said ACTIVE series, not dead ones that have more of a chance of getting a monkey paw for some ungodly mobile spinoff. I wish Camelot would be free of sports game spinoff hell

Every single chapter of FE1 has just been this: “When that old man crosses the map on his horse you are going to be clapped. Prepare your butt.” I know I’m not supposed to do that based on the archetype Jeigen embodies of being good until he falls off but like, this is not a game made for balancing, I think it’s a game made for testing patience by doing resets until you 100% it If not for advance wars/famicom wars fire emblem would never have existed as a side project but I think the series is sort of just like superseded by fire emblem We should get more tanks in fire emblem like just one would be funny An actual tank What popular medieval anime did fire emblem initially copy that then got turned into a hodgepodge of ideas with the problem dragon, the manifestation of how evil wizard politics just involve summoning the evil bad thing to be killed and then the internal problems of the world will be solved It’s Arthurian Ohhh Mars has Excalibur. Fire emblem engage is funny because nobody gave it more than like 2 minutes and immediately went back to talking about three houses because the story was that whack.
