A collection of various sites I've used to play through various games or do research that hopefully aren't flooded with useless information.
A lot of these might be outdated in terms of terminology or just
plain wrong (the gamefaqs section in particular) but with the way
let's plays simply don't exist anymore, I like to keep using simpler things.
I mean it would be faster to get a strategy guide or go to r/JRPG then ask me for help because I’ve got chronic brain farts and I’d give you vague and unhelpful advice which would be something like “yeah when you go to the door of the temple of shadaloo taking exactly 49 hp* a glitch activates that speedrunners use to just clip through a wall using unused content still left in the games of the original ending cutscenes* code so they can just skip the cutscenes but there’s only a 15 minute window to do so because the plot important NPC spotting you will cause the door to lock.* I saw it on YouTube during a live speedrun once. ” *evolution method for galarian yamask *moon rpg’s cut early draft ending still being in game *cave story has a fourth ending April fool’s prank
And if all else fails, the internet archive might always have a strategy guide or two... but I can't show you the way. You'll need to explore for yourself.
