That white hand on your shoulder... Guess it’s not real after all?

Okay so sometimes in my head the glitch users exist seperate from rumors (the story concept) and sometimes they don’t and right now what I’m writing down could change at any moment because I like using my OCs as theatre performers and throwing them into scenarios It’s actually incredibly difficult for normal curses/rumors/whatever to exist as is in a pokemon dominant timeline, mostly because people’s public perception goes “something weird happened? Must be a pokemon”. Hence why the most dominant type of rumors tend to just be pokemon or pokemon trainers. Glitch Users themselves qualify as rumors, especially Ketsuban, in consideration of his missingno powers and in general already being an incredibly difficult person to encounter and document. Unless you live in kanto because then the dude basically shows up as a documented guy all over the place.
the glitch users kind of came about as a seperate idea from rumors and there’s this SCP like foundation trying to contain what essentially boils down to like, world ending threats and also superpowered teenagers.
By default considering how SCP classification works all glitch users would be in Keter class. They vary on how hazardous they are. But friendliness levels aren’t as varied.

Danger Zone

It goes like this:
Danger Levels:
Dawn and Myo who are apocalypse bringers
Gold if he gets mad because his pokemon will attack
Red Bros. (Ketsuban, Wisteria) who are just little miscreants, misaligned, malcontent, and just plain mean.


Massive Power Gap

Abandonware’s powers only really affect electronics but the thing is he can handle the Red bros, which makes him the most dangerous guy because they’ll listen to him.
Lyra’s acid rain if it properly sets off or the sunshine poisoning if it gets too hot (so if you piss her off)
May if she gets motivated enough with her time stop
Lucas if he got motivated enough and just like, activated a void and then closed it shut
Fire and Leaf have psychic powers which I guess makes them be higher up than Crystal and Brendan since it’s not as reliant but they’re not exactly glitch users per say...

Ragon and Ultimus are literally just there to hang out but Ragon’s weather powers are emotion dependent and less than Lyra’s and Ultimus is kind of just there minus the glitch pokemon that listen to him because he is a pitiable boy and has the energy of a disney princess getting random animals to attack on sight
Crystal and Brendan’s powers are largely dependent on being near a battle tower but they can still clone pokemon I guess and they’re the ones who can blend in the most in terms of not standing out so they probably won’t be attacked on sight

Ghost Leaf is a ghost, she can’t really do much, she’s also location dependent on pokemon tower but she’s more or less a rumor made manifest, not a glitch User
Cyan is also not a glitch user, possibly anemic, kind of spends most of his time not adventuring and is kind of afraid of Pokemon now.
“Snow” (name tentative), not a glitch user, but did however manage to collectively scam the entire region of Kanto by being really good at being Red to the point no one even realized that there was a Rumor centered on Mt. Silver that got off Mt. Silver and then just. Performed Identity Theft that was so good it tricked people who were actual versions of Red. Because we’re dealing with a multiverse. No... she couldn’t have gone to the BURNED TOWER.

Ketsuban is an intentional troll Abandon is the guy with main tank syndrome, Wisteria is a completely irresponsible healer with a god complex. Ultimus has no clue how to play and mostly does duty support Ragon has not touched MSQ, only plays POTD I need to note that Wisteria is one of those healers that purposefully lets your health drop low so he doesn’t get bored. Ketsuban is the type of person to purposefully throw in raids and not move out of his line and say “you don’t pay my sub” He doesn’t pay for it either he’s freeloading off of abandon The Successor Trio just do non modded screenshots
Bill’s probably one of the funniest characters concept wise because literally he has no clue how his PC system basically made a portal to digital hell. The kanto cast once non glitch users are counted (Red(?), Blue, Green, Yellow, Trace, Bill, Terry, Elaine, Chase) is big enough to have a full party/2 alliance raid groups (light party=4, full party=8, alliance raid group is 8, full alliance raid is 24. I feel like I definitely have enough OCs to have a full raid.) Not that they’d ever get along enough to do that. There’s also the professor(s) and Agatha but like. They’re more mentors than fighters...
The extra kanto cast (Myo, Lonely, and Cyan) always try to run raids together but never get a good schedule.
Considering FF14’s astral and umbral powers, how would light and dark magic work in this world Light magic is regular magic I guess. Dark magic is the glitch powers. Red Mage is a class dedicated to balancing out the powers Am I going to have to like thematically explain classes too...
Kris is a treasure map hunter, Gold is a crafter for the market, Lyra is a cash shop buyer Brendan is a crafter for May, who mostly just does PVP Lucas is the kind of guy who only logs in so his house doesn’t expire. Dawn is an Omniclasser and has done everything for completionist’s sake. Trusts and stuff.

Down The Rabbit Hole...

Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, “and what is the use of a book,” thought Alice “without pictures or conversations?”

So she was considering in her own mind (as well as she could, for the hot day made her feel very sleepy and stupid), whether the pleasure of making a daisy-chain would be worth the trouble of getting up and picking the daisies, when suddenly a White Rabbit with pink eyes ran close by her.

There was nothing so very remarkable in that; nor did Alice think it so very much out of the way to hear the Rabbit say to itself, “Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be late!” (when she thought it over afterwards, it occurred to her that she ought to have wondered at this, but at the time it all seemed quite natural); but when the Rabbit actually took a watch out of its waistcoat-pocket, and looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice started to her feet, for it flashed across her mind that she had never before seen a rabbit with either a waistcoat-pocket, or a watch to take out of it, and burning with curiosity, she ran across the field after it, and fortunately was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge.

In another moment down went Alice after it, never once considering how in the world she was to get out again.
