Shrine maiden (like Touhou a live) Noir detectives (I’m thinking a lady detective who is always at this bar where there’s a singer she listens for) Pirates (Anne Bonny ) Greek mythology (I was considering making it like Orpheus and Eurydice) Steampunk Train heist (the idea was OG train heist with cowboys but then I thought “we already had a cowboy chapter though”) Pyramids in Egypt Witches (like the witch trials) The idea of what people thought “hacking” in the 90s looked like a la tron/reboot/matrix Earthbound/ American youth story High school drama story that is basically dollar store budget mean girls but without any magic so it’s just the most insane jumping of all time Robots like Akira’s chapter but in Space this time (gundam) Robots but they’re living robots (transformers) Sports of some sort (like soccer or tennis) A princess story Fantasy RPG but normal. Magical girls (not PMMM style, think Precure or Sailor Moon) Villainess story Battle of the bands Power rangers/ Super Sentai (but isn’t that the same as a magical girl one? Not for this) Comic book superhero Some type of military story but like advance wars Post apocalypse

I’m trying to stay with human history though because otherwise I’d have the dumb ideas of “what if you were like, a dog, or, a microorganism” and trying to envision that later one in a finale would be mad stupid The dog might stay though I’d need to narrow down the scenarios back to eight Noir detectives Girl and Dog (in the post apocalypse) Pirates Magical girls Combining the American youth story with sports to be about a baseball team Villaness and Princess Otome Greek mythology (underworld) Battle of the Bands (you will have to play a rhythm game)

What are my thoughts on KH as a whole? Well, I've mostly just read the manga, watched a few playthroughs, and got hyped for 3 and spent far too much time in KHUX, only for khux to die and KH3's ending to be okay at best.

I got really attached to the sea salt trio because I read through the KH2 manga at first but then my school library didn't have the rest so I was just living through roxas going through the worst memory manipulation of all time, so then I read through KH1 and then 358 Days alongside COM, and eventually KH2 got finally finished only for the 3 manga that didn't cover the DLC either. I'm sure if I played I'd be more about the gameplay but I like the music and atmosphere of 1 and 2 and thought the attraction stuff of 3 was cute but like... in terms of plot stuff, I feel like I have less attachment to the BBS trio aside from Aqua, I think she's cool. It does feel a bit blatantly like Nomura looked at star wars during BBS and said "hey, that looks pretty cool," which is funny how disney does have star wars now and they're probably gonna have a star wars world in 4 but I'm kinda like "that's neat." I really have zero disney attachment.

I really wish Kairi got to do more things. If you don’t stick the landing then everyone will just remember how the ending was and I don’t think KH3 had an ending that was bad especially when re:mind gave a marginally better ending by letting Kairi do things but it also feels like 70% of KH3 understood the assignment it was set up with but 30% got sidetracked by being like “play our mobile game. Verum Rex. Setting up for the sequel series.” My favorite catharsis is when roxas showed up and started beating Saix like a maniac. I thought the Pixar worlds were good but that’s because they were more Original stories with Pixar characters as opposed to “stand there and watch the movie happen” but that’s an thing with a lot of KH worlds. It was really noticable with Frozen though, that one was really a lot of standing. I don’t have much Disney nostalgia though so it’s whatever in that aspect.

Kairi has the problem of being a shonen girl where she is clearly setup as the romantic interest but the narrative doesn’t give her her fighting moments but she is great within 1-2 but when you’re in a shonen you deal with insane power ceiling scaling and launching her into the new organization 13 fight was the equivalent of sending an underleveled pokemon to get sacked in the champion battle. Merlin’s training was ass. The other girls don't have this issue. Namine is the memory glue based on concert lore, and even though she doesn't fight, I still like her, and Xion and Aqua are great so does Kairi just. Get like. A bit shafted.

My favorite iteration is still her manga version but that’s more because the manga was my first entry way to the series. Like how did melody of memories final boss bit get greenlit. At least she’s training with Aqua.

Roxas’s gang is the one I relate to the most because outside of the fantasy context it’s two teens with a shit minimum wage job bumming off their older generational friend with their only fun activity being eating the same food over and over. Young Xehanort is a horrid troll who’s funniest moment was getting blasted by Woody “I bet nobody’s ever loved you before” meanwhile in the mobile game his whole team died.

How about KH4 speculation? Marche in Quantandrum and he's pissed off the whole time. I want more final fantasy characters still, I want there to be more square influence. Put in Live a Live Cube. Put in Mana characters. If Dream Ivalice is made from a imaginary world of kids and some of their personal objects coming to life does that not make it like a dark world from deltarune “Oh boy I can’t wait to see what happens in missing link” there’s nothing. Shit got canceled. We have more proof of the random ass MMO than anything from missing link because all the YouTube content creators swore an oath to say nothing about the datamined files. Go, give us nothing. It’s called missing link because it’s missing.
